Nigeria has dropped on the World Bank's 2018 'Doing Business' report to 146th position, one point lower than the 145th the country was ranked the previous year.

Chief Economist at Price WaterHouse Coopers, Dr Andrew Nevin, says though the government's efforts at improving the ease of doing business in Nigeria has been outstanding, it is not enough.

According to him, "the problem is that the ease of doing business improvements are not enough to compensate for basic economic policy mistakes".

In an interview with Inspiration FM's Editor, 'Lara Jimmy-Olabode, Dr Nevin highlighted some structural policy impediments to include high forex rate, fuel subsidy and inadequate power supply.
